In the finale, Ian gave Mickey yet again another ultimatum saying that if he doesn't allow him to stay off his meds, he won't be able to continue with the relationship, when in reality, it would be justified for Mickey to give Ian an ultimatum, but Mickey isn't as self-centered as Ian is. He basically said that if Mickey doesn't come out to everyone about being gay, they will not be able to continue on with their relationship. In Season 4 Episode 11, Ian provided Mickey with an ultimatum. I think that Ian's breakup with Mickey proved this once and for all. Mickey Milkovich loves and cares more for Ian Gallagher more than Ian Gallagher ever loved and cared for Mickey Milkovich. Now that this season has come to a close, it made me fully realize how one-sided this relationship was. He's truly my favorite fictional character of all time.
